Horizons and Glances
A selection of the latest pieces in watercolour from 2023 and ’24. The landscapes are inspired by photos from trips to his perpetual Cadiz, Ireland’s Dingle peninsula and Dublin, where he captured the iconic Poolbeg chimneys seen from Bull Island.
The “glances” that follow are inspired by another constant in Agudo’s work: the image of his wife, the anthropologist Pilar Sanchiz Ochoa, throughout her life.
